Description

Tiramisu is a classic Italian dessert made with layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and a rich mascarpone cream, dusted with cocoa powder.

This no-bake dessert is known for its creamy texture and delightful coffee flavor, making it a favorite treat worldwide.

  1. In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until pale and creamy.
  2. Add the mascarpone cheese to the egg yolk mixture and mix until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur (if using) in a shallow dish.
  5. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
  6. Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish.
  7. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  8. Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  9. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  10. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
