Recipe of Carbonara
Description
This is a classic Italian pasta dish made with eggs, cheese, pancetta, and
pepper.
Carbonara is typically served with spaghetti, but you can use other pasta
shapes if you prefer.
Ingredients
- 200g spaghetti
- 100g pancetta
- 2 large eggs
- 50g Pecorino cheese, grated
- 50g Parmesan cheese, grated
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Salt

Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al
dente.

In a separate pan, cook the pancetta until crispy. Remove from heat.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the grated cheeses.
- Drain the spaghetti, reserving some cooking water.

Quickly toss the hot spaghetti with the pancetta and egg-cheese mixture,
adding a little cooking water if needed to create a creamy sauce.
- Season with freshly ground black pepper and serve immediately.
